“Only for the Money” is my debut single under my real name “Anthony Ewers”, which I started writing back in 2022. The song is about the effects of colonialism, oppression and the tyranny that accompanies the dominant religious narrative and capitalist economic system of the world. The song speaks from a biblical perspective and is based on Habakkuk chapter 2, accompanied by a collection of scriptures that spiritually highlight aspects of colonialism and greed.

I speak of the lies and the trickery in those want to dominate the earth and its people for power and money, yet claim to be the protectors of humanity and civilisation. Here the scripture says:

What a metaphor that the bible uses, think of how many people have died since the beginning of time, and the bible says the colonialist “who gathers all nations to himself”, that they have a greed likened to the “greed” of death itself. The meaning is, as death is never satisfied, so too, nether is the greed of the colonialist.

I believe in this way, the living word of God still speaks to us today, and sadly, the reason why the “Matrix Churches” don’t want to speak much from the so-called “Old Testament”, except when it comes to paying tithes. These Matrix churches simply don’t want to acknowledge the inherent greed in the system they gave their blessing to (look up Dum Diversas, Romanus Pontifex and Inter Caetera), that helped to shape the capitalist structure of the world today because of the aggressive, genocidal and expansionist exploits of mainly European nations and those located in the northern hemisphere.

PRODUCTION

From a production standpoint, I found the music easy to write, the lyrics came fairly easily too, but singing them to a decent standard I found a challenge. I also went through a few different variations of the album art. Shrinking back from anything that might be litigious.

I settled for a version of album art that shows the flags of nations that are colonisers or colonial states above a map of the world. In the background you can see bank notes, coins and financial charts. The map of the world shows the territories claimed by colonisers in orange, and the colonial states themselves in brown. Russia is the notable exception as its means of colonisation, like China is much more based on economic subterfuge, although it has had some colonial power over regions like Ukraine, and similarly as China does with Taiwan. However, even the mighty China was at one time colonised too.

The focus of the song is Habakkuk chapter 2.

As much as we think of the world as advanced and are bribed by the European way of life, we have to realise that his mode of civilisaiton is not sustainable, because it relies on unjust principles and a perpetually maintained hierarchy of dominance, with the most greedy and evil people at the top of the structure of control. However, as Bob Marley stated, “you can fool some people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time” (also attributed ironically to Abraham Lincoln). The masses are starting to wake up to the fact that all is not well, discontent is rising.

The Europeans have never had to face a court or judgement of any kind for their wrongdoings in the past. I believe this gives their people a kind of hubris and bravado, much like the thief that has not yet been caught despite a spate of crimes. In the present day, the devouring nature of European culture is separated from the masses of its people by its war machine who operate out of sight and out of mind, with its activities conveniently framed by the mainstream media and an establishment that suppresses dissent and alternative voices.

The European believes their life is better than anyone else’s, and though they complain about the cost of living, they will put up with that, high taxes, the growing government corruption, poor services and erosion of wealth, and perhaps even ironically “the invasion of foreigners”; yes they will put up with all this because they have a psychological security mechanism, that of being European. By stealth their wealth is taken away from them by their governments, the technocrats, all the elements of their society than pander to their desires. This in turn feeds their war machine system through a complex network of banking, investment and taxation. Some know this war machine as the military industrial complex.

On “The State of Israel”

The present day manifestation of the more brutal side of European dominance, power and warmongering lust are The Ashkenazi “Jews”, those who are publicised by the world’s media as the inhabitants of “The State of Israel”. These people in fact don’t deserve a state in any place except Europe from which they originated. These people are not the original inhabitants of the Palestine, but originate from the area of present-day Ukraine and Western Russia. Check out the book The Thirteenth Tribe by Arthur Koestler who himself is of “Jewish” origin, this will give you the facts behind this truth.

The Ashkenazi “Jews” are converts to a religion who practice a sham and not the truth. It is a TOTAL delusion to believe that The State of Israel has any right to the land of Palestine whatsoever (or of any land in Africa for that matter), and all this violence is based purely on the fallacy that the Ashkenazi Jews are God’s chosen people with a right to the land of Palestine, which sadly is simply an extension of the demon that is white supremacy.

What the genocide in Palestine tells me, is that the same colonial powers that initiated land grabs right across the planet through war, violence, terror and injustice, during the age of expansion, haven’t learned their lessons from the past. In fact they are comfortable with inhumane slaughter and proving to themselves that might wins over right, even while telling everybody else the exact opposite to give themselves a veneer of respectable civility.

I am not a denier of the Jewish holocaust, history is real, but history didn’t start in the 20th century. However, we have to recognise, a state can’t be born because a banker (Rothschild) and a couple of colonial regimes decide they want to partition up land that does not belong to them, without the agreement of the true owners of the land (the Palestinians). My assertion is, if we even agree that The State of Israel, particularly in its current location has any legitimacy whatsoever, then we agree to the principle of “might over right”, and that is, as we can see, a race to the bottom and to the destruction of many values decent humans hold to be worthy.

Remember, this scenario we see playing out in Palestine could have happened in Africa (Uganda) if the original plan of the Ashkenazi Jews had succeeded, because they wanted to build a home for the Jewish people there originally before settling on Palestine. Look up The Uganda Plan, if you haven’t already heard about it.

BROADER CONTEXT

You must understand, the technocrats lust for weapons, power and control, and the mechanisms we have seen played out in such horror on Palestine, are the same tools that white supremacy will allow to be used on other nations that threaten to stop it’s relentless “progress”. Indeed now the masses have been desensitised to the horror of western aggression through this horrific precedent which has been set, this will bolster the pride of the nations who delight in war to carry on with their atrocities.

My track “Nature of the Beast” speaks of what the end of this system will conclude in, unless we form the understanding to fundamentally change our way of life, leading to repentance, globally.

“Only For The Money” has a laid back melancholic feel to the music. It is a reflective and analytical look at a society that is dominated by unjust power, greed and violence as the song explores colonialism, oppression and tyranny from a biblical perspective.
