Nature Of The Beast

This video accompanies a remastered version of Future By Design’s “Nature of the Beast” initially released back in 1998. This Drum ‘n’ Bass track has a hard, dark and edgy feel. The dystopian future, remastered. Listen and download this release from your favourite digital music platform here: https://social.tunecore.com/linkShare?linkid=vxE755a9-ppSdkV7QPvdbA

If I had the means to product a video when I initially wrote this song, and if I had been as spiritually awake back then as I am now, then this is something along the lines of the video I would have produced. I created a video to visually explore the themes in the music and offer a more intense listening experience coupled with visual learning.

Nature of the Beast offers an unconventional look at the bible, specifically Revelation chapter 13, it focuses on the nature of the economic system that subjugates the world with tyranny, yet at the same time fosters almost unquestioning obedience. The “beast system” is run by kings, rulers and authorities, which pride themselves on their power to control the minds and actions of men. The “beast” system has as its lifeblood, trade, even that of trade in human souls.

Trade causes so much of the conflict in this world, over land, resources and labour. Governments, cartels, multinational companies, families and even individuals, war by arms or by policy, to gather more and more for themselves in a cycle, they hope, of endless gain. The general populace likes it this way too, you might hear comments like “if the markets are up, my pension is doing well, and my investments will be profitable”.

What many don’t realise is, the system we have is unsustainable without coercion. To start with the coercion is subtle, mentally, by social value, status, class, but there will come a time when the coercion is universally by force.

The doctrine of “Rapture”, a long running falsehood

Be very aware, European taught Christianity, is based on the teachings of the so called “church fathers”, all of whom made prophecies which did not come to pass. The messiah said, “call no one on earth father, for you only have one father who is in heaven” (Matthew 23:9), wise words from our true teacher. The “Rapture” doctrine, the doctrine of the church fathers is false, and there have been dates on which this rapture was supposed to have occurred going back over 1,500 years, all of which have proved false. It is time for this lie to die.

The Promised Land is in Africa

“Sub”-Saharan Africa is the “Promised Land”, more resources, nature and blessing than any other land on earth, with an abundance of blessed people. We have to overcome differences and work together, to stop paradise from being stolen from under our feet, by those who have long dominated us.

Is “Money” the god of this age?

Professor Jiang has some very challenging views on how money, individualism and in my view misunderstanding have merged together to forge a misplaced notion of faith which is ruinous to mankind.

While I can’t agree with everything Prof. Jiang has proposed, he does raise some thought provoking ideas. Let’s face it, we do have to think about why “Christianity” today is so focused on money. Why megachurches effectively sell “blessings”. “Peter” and “John” said “silver and gold I have none” and they performed miracles. Messiah called Peter to catch a fish, which miraculously had a coin in it, which they used to pay the temple tax. Paul wrote of being “poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything”. Yet there is today a breed of pastor that has the best cars, private jets, mansions and TV shows and followers are attracted to them in large numbers. There is a clear difference, so why does it exist?

Under Law?

Under Law?
The Holy Bible on a wooden table.

Think carefully about the doctrine of Christianity, as opposed to “The Way”. If Messiah “abolished the law on the cross”, as many people claim, then the new covenant could never have been established and Messiah’s own words were unfulfilled (Matt 5:17-20). How can people put their hope in a saviour whose words have apparently failed? How will that affect our trust if what The Messiah has said cannot fully be trusted?

The new covenant is Yah’s laws written in our hearts – Jer 31/Heb 8 makes this clear. Don’t think Yah found fault with his law, no, scripture says he found fault with the people. Furthermore, it wouldn’t be possible to write what had already been abolished in our hearts. Christians, logically, really must believe that the new covenant will never be established. Maybe I’m over-thinking it, but the way I see it, the doctrines of Christianity are entirely confused. The Apostle Peter (Kefa) said this:

2 Peter 3:15–16 (CJB): And think of our Lord’s patience as deliverance, just as our dear brother Sha’ul (Paul) also wrote you, following the wisdom God gave him. Indeed, he speaks about these things in all his letters. They contain some things that are hard to understand, things which the uninstructed and unstable distort, to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.

Lawfulness and obedience to Yah’s commands doesn’t lead to destruction or death (Rev 12:17 & 14:12), but rather it is sin that leads to death (Rom 6:23).

Podcast 1 – Proverbs 2:12-19 – Spiritual Prostitution and Adultery

TRANSCRIPT:

Hello my name is Anthony Ewers, I am also the artist on this website who produces all the music and the content that hopefully you will enjoy.

I just wanted to deliver a really short message about, Revelation 17 and how I believe it links into some Proverbs.

I’ve been reading The Proverbs ever since I came back to the faith after some years of backsliding. I sort of came back into the faith in 1999 so it’s been 22 years now and basically at the time when I came back into the faith I was heavily reading The Proverbs. This passage that I’m going to speak about is taken from Proverbs chapter 2 verses 12 – 19. You could read the whole chapter but just for brevity I’m going to read actually from verse 12.
